If aliens have landed in California, perhaps they've been there for a while? That would explain a lot. Maybe they have taken human form and are now representing and running the state? That would explain even more. Any crop circles in MA?

tac17, now that you put it like that , yes it does. The closest I came to that thought was thinking that if they had suits like our astronauts use the water would have been useless. To be fair though I think they tried to show that the aliens were avoiding places with lots of water.

Personally the biggest problem with that movie was the lack of guns in a FARM HOUSE. What kind of farm doesn't have at least a .22 or a shotgun? One in the Twilight Zone?

Saw fragments of "ET" yesterday. Wondered why the viewers were supposed to think ET to be a gentle herbivore...it had frontal bonocular vision with a huge rangerfinder base, obviously evelved from the need to range accurately for predatory and/or ballistic activities. So ETs were likely predators, and likely projectile users, as their legs were too short to be useful for chasing anything

The small green men, will present a problem for centerfire rounds. They don't have enough mass to allow for good bullet expansion. So a shotgun with #00 buck, or else a .22LR.

Also, if they come en-masse, .22 is a good round, as you can carry quite a bit... But no hi-cap .22's I know of..

Thanks a lot 45R. You just ruined our secret plan to boost tourism and with it, restore the state's economy. We were about to announce a Loch Ness Monster in Lake Havesu (a man made lake near Bakersfield) to draw tourists there too. Now we have to cancel our planned alien "invasion" and wasted a ton of money on souvenirs, toys, posters and all the other schlock that tourists buy.

Saw this mentioned on CNN or Fox News while I was at work. Apparently the workmanship of these circles wasn't so great. Some pilot flew over and stated that if those crop circles were made by aliens, then they were drunk aliens.

Hehehe its going to take alot more than tin foil hats and alien crop circles to restore the states economy. If the govenor would stop taking $3K helicopter rides home and just drive........... that would be start for the tax payers.

I gotta better idea on restoring the economy...

Lets split the state in halves so what we have Northern and Southern CA and we teleport SF and plop it next to LA. Charge SoCAl a ton of money for water that they are stealing from NorCAl folks.

Bring back the old recording of War of the Worlds, as the citizens of CA hide in there bomb shelters and SHTF safe houses THR members can all dress up as aliens and invade farms cutting Molon Labe Crop circles everywere..............
