Crossbreed Supertuck...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometime recently a guy posted that he got a date because he had residue and Hoppes on him when he went to class after shooting and cleaning, so I think that's the ticket!

That sorta goes hand in hand with the old want ad joke:

Wanted: Looking for an attractive lady friend with a great personality, is a good cook, loves the great outdoors and also loves guns. Please send picture of guns!!

I've done a great job of getting us off of the original subject haven't I??! That's one of the benefits of being 70 I guess!

I recently got a Crossbreed and share your pain with putting it on and taking it off. For me the trick is to clip it onto the waistband with no gun in it before putting on the belt. But it is still much of a pain.

I got a FIST K3 for my new pistol and it is night and day easier to put on and off. However the Crossbreed is much more stable and comfortable while you wear it. I think those wide-spaced offset clips make for a very stable holster but they are also instrumental in making it hard to get on and off.

I agree with you on the stability and comfort. I've come a long way since I first posted this thread. The final problem that I had to overcome was getting the shirt tucked in just right. I have found that if I line up the side seam of the shirt about where it should fall and then tuck the seam in first and then either side of the seam, it takes less effort to finish the job. Otherwise I'm pulling and tugging trying to get rid of the "ripple" effect of an improperly tucked shirt.

Carry safe and happy shooting!

I don't consider mine a problem, but I don't tuck a shirt in often. I just hang it on my pants and belt before I put my pants on. Then if I need to tuck it in, I latch my belt really loosely, then tilt the gun back to make a gap for my shirt.
