Curio and relic license questionsThanks all

Ive had one for a few cycles but never used it to acquire a gun. Many shops in Illinois will not accept them but I missed an opportunity to get a gun years back so I got a license. I went to renew recently and put a change of address on the form but missed checking the box about the change, The new license came with the old address. Would appreciate any input on what to do next, Am I allowed to just turn in the license now or do I have to fill out other forms to straighten out the error first. Thanks all.

Probably just need to submit a new Change-of-Address, but call them to be sure.

For all the disdain here written about the ATF, in my experience the individuals I’ve talked to there have been some of the most helpful civil servants I’ve ever dealt with.

They seem to be unfailingly friendly and knowledgeable, no attitude, and are a pleasure to deal with.

I’d give them a call and I’m sure they’ll steer you in the right direction.

Amen. I have had the same experience. Once Les got his type 10 FFL, we saw a lot more ATF people and the compliance checks were more frequent. I got to meet a lot of ATF people and I never met one I had issues with.
