Custom Shop CZ75-SP01

I've been thinking about purchasing a Custom Shop CZ75-SP01 and was wondering what others thought about it. Is it worth the ~1K (with adustable sites) compared to other semi-autos? I have a Springfield TRP which is very good pistol so how would it compare to the TRP? Any comments or inputs are welcome. The pistol would be just for range use.

Should be less than 1K, it's on CZ-USA at $850, Angus Hobdell at Ghost Holster (www.ghostholster.com) also does the work.

According to Springfield the same amount of work for the Basic Competition is $1775, the TRP with rail is circa $1800.

If you can get hold of a stock SP-01 and try it/shoot it I think you will be impressed. The custom work is outstanding and can be done after market as well.

That's a good suggestion Everallm. Maybe I'll just start with the stock SP01 and see how it goes.

The custom shop gun will "make the weight" for IDPA competition. The standard gun is too heavy.
