ive got a friend interested in one of these rifles. he knows about the interchangeable barrels and how the clips from berettas pistols can swap into it, but he's never seen what one can do when fired.

has anyone bothered to check MOA? maybe give a rough estimate of some accuracy over distance? any reliability problems?

any personal insight on the cx4 storm you have into the rifle, please share

thanks

I got my wife a 9mm cx4 and put a Trophy Red Dot on it. I put a couple of hundred rounds through it before I gave it to her. Not a glitch. Last Sunday we took it too the range for a little Easter celebration. She was popping colored Easter eggs at 50 yards no problem and this was her second time ever shooting a rifle. I don't know how it is further out, but at 50 yards it did darn good. She put about 250 rds through it and the only malfunction was once when she did not seat the mag fully, so not really a gun malfunction. It is a sweet little carbine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the Cx4 used magazines and not clips.

BTW - if an 18 year old buys a pistol-caliber carbine, can he buy pistol ammunitions? After all most states have laws against selling pistol ammunition to < 21 year olds.

good question on mag/clip. im not sure. its his prospect rifle not mine... if anyone can answer his question, im sure itd help my friend.

great pics by the way

Sorry i can not seem to put my pictures up, but i have a great pic of my target at 50 yard in a 1-2 inch group with my friends cx4. They are mag's by the way.

Fun Guns

The 9mm carbines are a blast. My daughter likes to shoot the Cx4, but likes the Hi-Point (In the ATI stock) because of the red dot. Both are acurate at 50 yards, 100 yards with some trigger time.

(They both use magazines.)

Cx4 can be pretty nicely accurate at close ranges, though the trigger is a little spongy in my opinion. I've never fired one at targets out past 25 meters, but it will group nicely at those kinds of ranges.

yes because technically it is a rifle and yes they can buy ammo for it. when i was a young buck under 21 they would always at wal-mart that is ask if it was for a rifle or a handgun.

btw i have experience with 2 of them i love them and they are alot of fun to shoot. one had an aimpoint on it and my dad's has a buriss speed dot, i didn't really check accuracy but they are definetly good enough. the two that i have played with were in 9mm.

as far as the magazines go you can get the 9mm models that take the storm handgun mags or you can get the ones like i have shot tha take the berretta 92 mags which i recommend they are cheaper and easier to come by and there are plenty of mil-surp mags out there.
