CZ .22 rifel question

Does anyone who has a CZ .22lr rifel know if shorts, longs and Long rifle ammo will feed from the 5 and 10 round magazines?

I'm thinking about picking one up and I would love the option to use shorts and longs as well as long rifle ammo.

Also, has anyone ever fired the 60gr. Aguila ammo (subsonic) in it? If so, how loud was it and how accurate was it?

Thanks,

Brian

The aguila SSS round sounds like a stndard target (sub-sonic) round. They load it hot. Accuracy with the CZ will not be good, it doesn't have a fast enough twist. The SSS round would shoot OK for the first few rounds from a super clean barrel, but a slighly dirty barrel must not give it enough spin to stabilze.
The CZ will feed longs and long rifles, but shorts are kinda 'iffy'.
The SSS round really needs a 1:12 twist or faster to shoot well.
I think you can get a fast twist barrel for Ruger's bolt gun and certainly for the 10-22.

The SSS keyholes at 15 yards from my CZ 452.
I shoot shorts but they do not feed from the magazine.
I recommend a lever gun for the use of shorts with a fast follow up.
I used a Henry 22 lever loaded with CCI shorts and a HK UTL rubber banded to the foreend to remove legions of squirrels from my attic(in a converted 18th century barn).
I've found the shorts to be more accurate and lethal than the CB Longs.
Both non-LR loads are quite quiet in the CZ but louder in the Henry.
