Okay, I've got several CZ semiautos and am familiar with the takedown. I am having trouble with my first disassembly of the 40B. I'm assuming it's the same. Remove mag, unload gun, pull slide back slightly to align grooves, push pin through to eject the slide release lever and then remove the lever and pull the trigger and push the slide forward... right or wrong?

I just cannot get that pin to push through, in part because it doesn't protrude as much as my others but it is also very stubborn.

40B owners please sound off.

My SP01 Tactical Sport (9mm) was really tight out of the box. I had to whack the slide stop with a hammer the first time I opened it up... pops out pretty easily now though. Put a drop of oil on before you start swinging at it and use a piece of wood between the hammer and the slide stop so you don't bugger it up.

Not sure if the 40B is DA or not (never seen one). On my CZ pistols, I've found that if you hit the decocker and push the slide back against the hammer, the takedown marks will be lined up... so no fussing trying to hold everything in place.

Crap, I seem to remember something weird about my 40P which has the 40B slide on it. Seems like you had to PASS the lineup marks somehow before the pin would unlock. Sorry I don't remember exactly.
