Watch out for the Burris MEDUM rings. I have a set on my 527 carbine. They're a little too short to clear the bolt handle from the ocular on most scopes.
I can't remember where I bought them, but I got a pair of 1" rings for my 527 made by CZ late last year. In addition to the above, try emailing CZ - I can't believe they don't have some.
I just bought a 527 American in 223 and it came with the CZ 1" rings included. They're hell for stout but kind of clunky looking. I've heard that Talley makes a good CZ 527 ring that allows the bolt to clear most scopes.
I have a CZ 527 American in 204 and went through the same issues. If you are interested in using low rings then I suggest get a new bolt handle. James Calhoon at www.jamescalhoon.com will do a one for one swap for $43 shipped. All you have to do is take your bolt handle off which is easier than it sounds, and mail it in with a check or money order for $43 and he'll mail you a bolt handle capable of clearing the ocular lens of a 40mm scope using low rings. I have a 3-9x40 (w/Leupold Dot) on low rings and have no clearance problems.
