cz 75 and ruger p89

I have never been around CZ pistols but their reputation is very good.

I did own a P-95. Rotten POS. Ugly, clunky, lousy trigger. Awful customer service. Ruger wouldn't stand behind their poor excuse for a firearm. No more Rugers ever.

The only Ruger auto I have experiance with is a Ruger P-85. Ran solidly. Trigger was nothing special. Rested, the best anyone could get with it was 8" groups at 7 yards. I hear the 85s in general had issues. This one was particularly bad.

Never been a big fan of Ruger autos, just too ugly for me so the experiance with the 85 convinced me to stay away from the Rugers just as general policy. Then more recently have been their marketting schemes which have been pissing me off so I'm shying away from Rugers in general.

Which sucks because I REALLY want a Super Redhawk in .454 Casull.

I imagine that is the same attitude a lot of the people had in some IPSC and IDPA matches before I handily beat them with my P89. That makes it all the sweeter. Knowing my gun is so inferior to theirs must make me a truely great shooter

I have GOT to hear the story of your P95. I've heard of people having trouble with Ruger products (had some myself on a couple of occasions) but you're the first that I can recall having trouble with their customer service.
