let's see how my planned negotiations will proceed and I'll let you know.

Update:
CZ store was closed on Saturday, but the other great shop in town was open and I went home with a GP 100, 4" barrel in 327 mag.
Will have to get another original grip, laminate looks good but no real control due to size and being too slippery. GP 100_357_327 (1).jpg GP 100_357_327 (2).jpg
Thanks for all the friendly advice and comments,
Cheers!

LGS had a new high polish 9mm with 2 10 round mags (NJ) for $799 about a year ago. Sure is pretty. My GP100 5" is one of my favorites, I went with Chig's grips because the Hogue finger grooves didn't fit my hand as well.

That's a terrible price. I see them go for around $700 in my area. Buying now isn't a good option do to all the panic buyers. Heck I went to my range on Friday and they do a CZ Law Enforcement pricing program you don't need to be Law Enforcement to take advantage of. They had a Shadow 2 priced at $1035. But even if you can't get a deal like that, $1235 is reasonable for a Shadow 2. So $1050 for a stainless 75B is a total ripoff in my opinion, unless the gun was really tuned and worked over by a well known pro.

Yeah, and I thought $1050 is high !!!!!

Okay, thanks for all the replies, I really do like the shiny object, but not for $1050. Based on your answers, the next time I'll drive by the shop and he still has it, I will offer him cold, hard cash $850 and see what the gentleman says.
Luckily I am not in any hurry and actually do not need any more toys, but as most of us on this site, we do like them and collect them just as our wives collect shoes and bras.......
Um, I was thinking of taking a little drive later today. Maybe you could tell me where this shop is? Just to see if they have any ammo on hand.

Bought a two tone .40 CZ-75B back in 2000 with the idea of getting a 9 Upper in the future and cause I had a unlimited supply of .40 Duty ammo. Eventually I bought a .22 kadet conversion for it. They other day I found a 1995 CZ75B complete parts set in 9 MM for less than 300 bucks that looks unfired or used very very little! To get the slide to fit my frame took a little dremel grinding wheel work and a little elbow grease with some valve grinding compound. The Slide rails didn't even have the black baked on finish worn off them. It shoots great 10 yrds sandbag rest!
