i just bought cz 75 compact and was wondering if the full size mags will fit.

Hold the compact and full size mag side by side flush at the top. The amount that the full size extends past the compact on the bottom is how much it will extend out past the compact frame.

Yes, as Viking says. I often shoot 75 mags in my Compacts. Sometimes Compact mags can be difficult to find.

thanks guys. i just had to send my compact back to cz for repair. when you pull the trigger sometimes the hammer doesn't fall. the place where i bought it from as a gunsmith & he thinks it's the seer. hopefully when i get it back it will have some paper work stateing what repairs they made. i really like this handgun it seems to perfectly sized. it also feels good in my hand being all steel. when i get it back i might have to buy a full size one.

If you leave it in the safe long enough, a full size one will eventually show up....:D They have a tendency to do that when left alone in the dark.:what:

I don't advocate this for other applications, but the Pro-Mag CZ-75B mags for the .40 compact work perfectly in the 9mm model, and have been trouble-free for many users on the CZ Forum. (I started using them years ago, when the hi-cap mag ban was still in effect.) They'll hold 13 or 14 rounds, depending on when they were made. Most hold 14. Almost as good as a full-size mag.

Before you start slamming and gagging, I'm speaking from long experience. And others have had good luck with this particular type of Pro-Mag, too. Check with other users here on the this forum and on the CZ Forum as well.

I do not and will not use Pro-Mags in full-size CZs.

If Mec-Gar ever gets around to making mags for the Compact CZs, they would be my first choice.

I left my CZ 75B, and P0-1 alone in the safe for just a few moments and now I have a CZ RAMI. :D
