Opinions on cocked with the safety on or de cocked with one in the chamber? obviously safety will be off with it de cocked, mine seems that the hammer does not touch the firing pin de cocked with one in the chamber and wont touch even if i push it toward the firing pin.

It is generally thought that it is safe to carry the cz82 with one in the chamber. Good thing, because those "cock and lock" safetys are about the dumbest things ever put on a pistol.

I believe they're perfectly safe to carry hammer down, bullet in chamber (aka condition two). But someone will chime in soon with definitive info.

They are. The issue is to make sure you safely get it in that condition as the gun lacks a decocker. With the weapon pointed in a safe direction, place your thumb over the firing pin use your other hand to hold back the hammer and press the trigger. As the hammer comes forward let go of the trigger. Now you can move your thumb that is covering the firing pin and then let the hammer down. The hammer cannot strike the firing pin unless the trigger is being pulled. Thus, this method is safe. That is also part of why it is safe to carry with one chambered. As always use a quality holster that covers the trigger guard.

I've not heard that one couldn't carry a CZ-82 cocked and locked. There was an incident reported on here of a a guy that shot himself. However, his method of carry was just ridiculous and certainly did not meet the caveat of carrying any loaded gun, that one use a good holster that covers the trigger guard. The way he was carrying was an accident waiting to happen (and with any number of guns), and low and behold it did.
