So the CZ 82 I ordered from AIM arrived today. The gun is as advertised--very good condition. There are a couple of minor blemishes on the metal and a scratch on the right grip panel, but nothing major.
I've disassembled, cleaned, lubed, and reassembled the pistol and will take it to the range later this week.
I've just got one question. The safety only seems to work in single action--that is, when the slide has been racked and the hammer is cocked. For the life of me I can't get it to work when the hammer is down. Is this how it is designed or is my safety defective?
