I was able to get out and so some shooting yesterday. I took along my CZ 82 along with several other firearms.
I'd forgotten how great that little pistol is.
For those that have not fired one, try it.
For under $200, they have to be the best value on the market.
Reliable, accurate, hi-cap, inexpensive to shoot and inexpensive to purchase.
Just something to consider with the Christmas money you received from Santa.

I've got one that's my day to day carry gun. It's everything you said and more. Great little guns for the money.

BTW. A J.I.T. Don Hume holster for a Kahr 40 is a good fit.

I was so happy with my CZ82 (more correctly a CZ vz.82) that I bought a second, making it the only firearm in my collection of which I own two. It's far and away the best kept secret in the firearms world.

What he ^ says.

the only time ive seen one local the shop wanted $475 for the thing.

Keep looking. Make sure when you find one the seller isn't pimping you for the second mag that is always included when they are imported. Extra mags are pricey at $30 and hard to find on the hook in the store. (Watch out for the California 10 round mags that seem like a bargain.)

Let the seller keep the crappy leather holster and cleaning rod, unless you want to take a couple of sandwiches and 3 hostess pies to the range with you.

The holster works great if you want to dress-up like Col. Klink at halloween!
Definitely get a different one.
After I bought mine, three friends ran down a got one for use as their "vehicle gun".
Check J&G Sales. They often have them for under $200. I was lucky enough to get mine in person, so I could inspect them. Good news was that all they brought out were perfectly acceptable for the price.
Don't give up the search, it'll be worth it.

For what it's worth, I got my from A.I.M. for $219.00 including shipping, two mags, and a holster. The gun doesn't appear to have even been fired, and the holster and mags are unused near as I can tell. Way too pristine to use as a "vehicle gun" IMHO.

Why wait till Halloween to dress up like Colonel Klink? :)

I wouldn't want to use one as a vehicle gun as it will attract moisture and rust. I'd rather use something stainless for that. Or plastic/stainless.
