CZ 97 B .45 or STI Spartan .45?

I want to add a .45 to my collection and I've narrowed it down to the CZ 97 B and the STI Spartan .45. I can't make up my mind so I was going to see what you guys think.

i am a CZ guy, i love them, but in this case if it were me, id go for the spartan. is the spartan high cap.? if so that would be my choice. if it is a single stack id go with the cz.

witness mags fit the cz.

always wanted a sti double stack 10mm though........

The STI is just a single stack 1911 that holds 8+1. They're both about the same price too.

Where is the best place to get witness mags for the CZ?

Try the CZ. It's a great pistol, and it's really under-appreciated.

I'm really leaning more towards the CZ. Higher capacity, possibly better accuracy, and I think it looks better.

If you already have a 1911 in .45, go with the CZ97B. Great gun. I love my 1911's too though. Tough choice if you have neither. Do understand that the CZ has a wider grip, by a good bit.

Toss a CZ Competition Hammer in your 97B, and it can have a trigger pull as good as anything.

Is right on the money. There are now hammer kits for CZ's that can deliver a really crisp SA for as little as $68.00. Throw in a spring kit and you can have a DA under 9 lbs and a sweet SA pull around of around 3.5 lbs.
