I am very interested in this. For some reason 45 ACP never appealed to me besides range brass is easy to find. 10mm on the other hand, that is a level of "*bleep* off!" I really like. Now I will just keep hoping Ruger comes out with a PCC in 10mm AND takes CZ mags. A boy can dream.

I sincerely wish CZ would come out with a scaled up Scorpion Carbine that takes this magazine. It'd be a wonderful combo.

I would imagine so given you like your 97, and that you don't own a 10mm yet. This seems like a perfect mash up to me.

If I bring home only this gun this year, I'll be content. It basically just looks like a scaled up Shadow 2, and I have nothing but good things to say about mine.

I just ordered a Shadow 2. Now I kind of wished I had waited.:(
I wonder how long before this CZ is actually available?

Don't be sad. With the recoil difference between 9mm and 10mm, I think you'll find the Shadow 2 to be a wonderful plinker, and a 10mm 97 to be a more serious business gun. I mean you can really down load 10mm to be nice and easy on the hands of course. The 97 frame is also larger, so while I see lots of similarities between the configuration, I suspect they will feel rather different when shooting. The Shadow 2 is pure unadulterated fun, at least I think it is.

Not really sad and am looking forward to taking possession of my new Shadow 2 sometime this week, but I do love my 10mm's and will probably end up getting the CZ sometime down the road.
I really prefer to let new products be tested by others before I jump in anyway.

Comments from CZC on FB associated with the above picture indicate 14 round magazine.

Cost will be $540 for the conversion. If you order from them, add in the cost of the gun. Also, they noted that the one at SHOT 2020 pictured above has all the bells and whistles, and is more expensive than a $540 conversion. So it may be north of $2000 if people want the gun pictured above.
