Shoot your 40P and enjoy it. IMO, the 40-P is every bit as good a weapon as the P-01 and not that much longer than it. For concealed carry, there won't a a whole lot of difference. In the long run, it will certainly go up in value, mostly because it is so closely related to the P-01. The slide is SIG/Glock style with the squared ejection port locking lug making it more squared-off than the 75-styled slide of the P-01.
The RAMI seems to be an off-spring of the CZ-40B so parts will probably be available for a while, except perhaps for the barrel.
I figured that the slide of the 40P happens to be 14mm longer than the slide of the P-01. At $300, they are a real steal and if they do come out with the P-04, which will be in the $460 range, you'll get basically the same pistol with a shorter slide (sure, it might use the traditional locking lugs of the 75, but that's not going to affect function appreciably). You'll likely be paying about $10 per milimeter in length saved. Indeed, with the 40 being a snappier round than the 9, the CZ-40P might actually be a better weapon because of the heavier slide.
