people who carry hammer down on a cock-and-lock gun may like it when the trigger needs a longer, heavier DA pull to set it off...
when i first carried SA cocked and locked i was afraid that my moving around would disengage the manual safety. now, i am comfortable carrying cocked and locked and do so on a regular basis. that might have something to do with it.

Exactly why I don't often carry cocked and locked. I do sometimes carry my USP or 40B C&L, because both of them have safeties that inspire confidence in me.
