Ooops, maybe I'm being dense ... do the Czech police actually have such a contract knife (I guess that's what Thumper recognizes as a Busse)? I'm guessing no, since then it would probably have "CZECH POLICE" written on in it in Czech....

In any case ... nice portrait. If you haven't posted it on the Czforum ... bet they'd like it!

Do the Czech police actually have such a contract knife? It's a Busse and yeah, the blade says "Czech Policie" on it, written in Czech. It's a photoshop scene render. I try to be as authentic as possible.

Your cool ZAN!!!

Cannot wait to see the new one CZ75B/SA...

Props to you...and your new found career/hobby!!!!!

:D

let's hope it doesnt end up a career. I enjoy doing it too much. Thanks for the positive feedback.:p

Very nice 'shop work. I love the tag's silver work, it's very convincing, as is the work on the bullets. Couple tiny notes, from one Adobe Suite user to another.

*A quick distort or warp on the woodgrain layer will give you a much more convincing pattern.

*In general I like to take my photos of objects (like the gun and the cuffs) all from the same angle that I'm going to be using them in the finished piece. It saves alot of time trying to get a convincing shadow and a smooth transition to the background without overdoing the burn tool. It's a little noticeable where you've used it on the cuffs

pretty nice. here's a nice p-01 pic, I don't know who took it, but if I did I would credit them.

Thanks for the tips. The wood was suppose to give that fake wood, laminated feed to it. I've done some good grains and agree, they can't be all the same direction. Ever done any knots? I too no difital shots had no stock images to work with, I had use use what I could find. Ya, the cuffs are abit off angle.

I think I may do a Glock series after this last one. More than likely the RAMI.

Great pic. I'm getting the CZP-06 next month. I can hardly wait, additing to my already growning CZ collection.

not sure how they would, unless they cut down the CZ97 frame and called it a P-09 or something, because of the "taller" 45 acp round.

I bought a new P-01 for $450, and the gun outshoots me. I can shoot it so accurately it amazes me. Plus, its in 9mm, so the bullets are cheap, which is a +. It's the best pistol i've shot so far. I haven't been exposed to Sigs or nice 1911's yet.

You can, but it wouldn't be too safe :uhoh: Its meanted to be carried half cocked on DA mode, then its SA. DA/SA

@ Matrix187: I shoot both quite abit. You can't go wrong with a CZ or a Sig. Both are comfortable, have smooth action and clean well. Sigs' tend to be more expensive I believe, but you can't put a price on cc or duty carry.
