CZ P-01 vs. P-01 Omega

I would appreciate any pro's or con's of the P-01 Omega over the P-01. My P-01 is 20 years old and I'm looking for an excuse to buy a new one.

Well, the Omega will be new. That alone is all I’d need.

And the obvious cool factor of dual wielding a brace of CZs!

Your other pistol could be lonely.

It also helps the economy.

Good luck getting one ! My P-01 has been a great gun for 10 years . The Omega Model of it has been discointinued this year ! Besides the nicer finish than the Military P-02 , and the factory threaded barrel (don't know who sells them ready to go_ ) it has suppressor height better sights than the Military one. Also the decocker and the safety can be swapped out , suspect the trigger has been cleaned up by design changes. Depending on the price I'd like to buy one !

Oh I see there is a "regular" un threaded normal sighted Omega which seem just convertible firecontrol is the big difference. Yeah all over Gun Broker for $740 range. Can't find the suppressor version tho !

To me it depends if one likes the omega system or not. Being able to change from decocker to safety means nothing to me.
Imo, the omega has a nicer out of box trigger with a far better trigger shoe. The classic responds better to modifications.
