My Lgs just called and said my PCR is in,which is a supprise as I ordered it last
week and he figured 6mo-1 year.I know I'll need a new main spring to reduce the trigger pull,as I had to on my P-01.For those that have done this do you recomend the 13lb or the 15lb spring.
Thanks.

Love my pcr. I don't have a problem with stock set up. The decocker leaves the hammer in a semi-cocked position with decent pull.

Guess Im just spoiled as most my Pistols have had some action work done.
Unfortunately my Gun smith just retired so Im going to start doing some of my own.

iblong, are you aware of Cajun Gun Works kits for tuning cZs? David has some good things for cZs.

The PCR is a great pistol. I like my first one so much, I bought it a mate. Then added a P01 to make it a happy trio.:D

CGW parts will really make a difference. A race hammer added to my SA made it feel like a tuned 1911 trigger. Well worth the money.

The PCR is a decocker pistol. Doing the trigger work is not as easy as the models without the decocker. I'm not saying it can't be done but the degree of difficulty is a lot greater with the decocker models. Shooting DA from the decocked position makes it a lot easier, as mentioned.

Congrats on a fine choice.

Use the 15 lb main spring unless you plan on changing the firing pin along with using the 13 lb main spring.

+1 on Cajun Gun Works (CGW) for everything CZ.

I like the trigger pull on my totally stock PCR. I bought it in 2000, and maybe they used lighter springs back then because the trigger pull is lighter and crisper than my 75B.

The De-Cocker pistols are not all that hard to work on just take your time and there are some excellent tutorials on youtube. My P01 has the full boat CGW trigger and hammer kit with the short reset option and is nothing short of incredible 3lb S/A and 7lb D/A and a reset that is about half of the factory trigger. Did I mention that the CGW parts are incredibly well made and finished and pretty much drop in? It is true that the standard safety models are much easier to do a trigger job on and I managed to get similar results from just doing a buff and stone on the hammer and FPS of my 75B trigger reset still is nothing like the P01 though. Use the 13 pound spring and the extended firing pin it does wonders.

I bought mine used a few years ago, so I'm not sure what if anything was done to it, but the sa trigger is really good, and the DA isn't so bad either. I put a set of VZ grips on mine.

13# mainspring has always worked well for me in the compact guns.

I am partial to the folks at CZ Custom.
