CZ triggers

Does the trigger on a 75B feel the same as the 75BD model. I have shot the 75B and I shot it well, but I really want the decocker 75BD , never shot one. Anybody have both and tell me the difference with triggers ? I am hoping they are the same.

I have a few CZs, IMO the safety models have a better trigger simply because they are less complex compared to decockers. With that said I think one would be hard pressed to tell the difference unless you had one of each to compare against. Buy the BD, go to CGW buy the 3 spring kit and 15 mins later have a great trigger.

I second this suggestion. I'm one of the small minority that thinks the 75B doesn't have all that great of a trigger to begin with. I think you'll be well-pleased with a trigger upgrade.

No de-cocker for me.

CZ trigger is tricky in particular the sear engagement. Once you open the trigger, hard to resist not to "tune" the sear and easy to mess up. I'm still not brave enough to "tune" the trigger myself.

For what it’s worth, the decocked DA pull on my stock PCR (75D) isn’t quite the best, but Knowing the gun’s overall quality, it’s certainly more than acceptable (to me).

none of them feel that great to me but I'm coming from 1911s. For the small amount the decocker messes the trigger up I think it pays for itself in being far more useful than the manual safety. My opinion.

I upgraded my 97b to SAO. It now rivals my DW 1911 in feel/weight, but has just the least bit of creep. The cz hammer/sear engagement makes it difficult to totally eliminate creep, but it can be so slight it’s a non-factor. FYI I did NOT alter the hammer hooks or sear at all. I did polish internal bearing surfaces. I did remove the FPS and lifter and replaced the lifter with a bushing from CGW. SAO trigger from CZ. All of this is doable on a cz75.

There really is no difference between the basic mechanics of the safety and decocker version of a CZ trigger group. The work needed to improve the trigger is the same for both versions. My phantom and PCR have triggers just as nice as my CZ75B.

I have a the 75B Omega, which is convertible.

Trigger feels same to me with safety or decocker.

I switched to the safety, but plan on re-installing the decocker.

The safety ergonomics are horrible, so cocked and locked isn't an good option (as I hoped it would be)

For some reason I don't feel comfortable lowering the hammer on the chambered round. I actually step outside every time I do it. Just doesn't feel sure, confident and controllable.... while I've never had any issues doing so on my 1911s or BHPs
