CZ 75bd V.S. Beretta 92fs

For Law enforcement I carry a Glock 17, but i have a CZ75 Bd in my collection, it is a superior gun to the Glock I find my grouping's are tighter when usuing the CZ, i would buy a good grip for it, it will transform the pistol.
I would get a shot with each to make your mind up.

Definately that CZ.

Not only are they just as reliable and more accurate, they are slimmer and thus easyer to conceal. they are cheaper to boot.

I CCW a CZ-75 Semi-Compact with hogue grips. ITs the only gun iv got that i could get tight COM groups @ 25m out of the box.

Next handgun will be a CZ 97, or maybee a Baby Eagle in 45 acp.

Let me add one to the beretta side then
I've held several CZ's and find them to extremly comfortable, however I prefer Beretta's, YMMV.

Like others have said, it's all about YOU, shoot both and see which one YOU like better.

For me the standard 92/96 grip is the most comfortable, however I do love my Kimber Custom TLE II and I've just aquired a Beretta Cougar 8000 Inox and a Beretta 92 SA Steel I. The feel of each if these is decidly different but still comfortable enough for me to add to my collection.

Uh...I guess my name says it all.

I actually bought both, the 92 compact and the CZ75BD. I like decockers! I eventually traded away the Beretta even though it had nitght sights on the slide as well as the absolutely best trigger I have ever felt! I just don't like the fact that after using the decocker I have to manually shift the safety off by pressing up (counterintuitive). The BD returns to half-cocked and is ready to rock after the de-cock.

Both are quality guns and I wouldn't hesitate to carry a Beretta but the controls were the clincher for me.

I also agree about the ergos. CZ fits me better.

Well I guess my name says it all also. Ive had the Beretta, which is a very nice gun but after slipping into a CZ it just fit my hand alot better therefore it shot better for me. Beware: THEY ARE VERY ADDICTING!

I don't trust my 75BD for carry any more. It chokes repeatedly despite what I've done to try and fix the issue. It's a great range gun though and is a lot of fun with either the 30rd mag or the Kadet kit.

The two guns point very differently and you should carry the one that points best for you instead of some phantom on the internet. You are betting your life on being able to hit with it afterall. Both guns run with the proper ammo. Both guns are adequately accurate for defensive handgun distances. Both guns are realiable. Both guns have more than adequate capacity for realistic defensive shooting needs. Both guns are reasonably comforatable for extended training. Both guns have magazines available at reasonable prices. With all that being nearly equivalent for both guns the real question boils down to how well does a given gun shoot for you and that primarily is dependant upon the ergonomics. A good gunsmith can iron out all the mechanical questions. If it don't fit you won't make hits. Buy the one that points naturally for you.
