Just purchased a CZ52 earlier this month. Appears unfired (or did when I bought it :D ), made in 1954. Really coarse parkerizing for a finish. Teeny sights, hard trigger (getting better). Fascinating operating mechanism.

This thing fits my hand perfectly, in 200 rounds goes bang every time, and is an absolute ball to shoot! Damn accurate, too.

While I doubt that I would ever carry it or use it in a social situation, I find that for a plinker, it's hard to beat. And at 1650 fps, it definitely gets noticed at the range.

Does anyone have much experience to share with these pistols? Anyone know of instructions for detail stripping?

I've been to the CZ Forum (nice place) but I thought there might be some here who hadn't had experience with these guns. I believe that at $150 they're a good deal.

I purchased one in the same condition as yours and you are right, they are fun to shoot. There is a website that deals with military surplus rifles and pistols and I think they have a break down on the CZ52. I can't remember the site but if you search under military surplus rifles you should be able to hit it.
