I've got two CZ75s I'm comparing side by side, one is a pre-B and the other is a B. When I was reassembling them after bringing them home, I noticed that the pre-B does not have a feature on the barrel that the B does, and it seems a little funny.
Sorry about the lack of terminology, but on the bottom of the barrel is what I'd call a lug where the recoil spring assembly snaps into place. There is a divot drilled into the B that allows the recoil spring to set in place, and on the recoil spring assembly there's a little nub that fits in there nicely. But, on the pre-B, it seems like this divot is missing, but the recoil spring assembly still has the nub.
Is this just a manufacturing oversight? It seems to me that it should be there and was just forgotten.
Thanks in advance.
