I have 2 CZ82 pistols I paid $189 for back a few years ago. I've always wanted a CZ83 in .32 ACP but they are discontinued and difficult to find and when they do come up they are in the $600 range.
I see plenty of CZ83 .32 ACP magazines avalible on gunbroker as well as .32 barrels coming in at midwayusa for $128.00

From what I have read CZ82 and CZ83 barrels (and magazines) are interchangeable. Does anyone know if there are any other differences other than the barrel and magazine? Are the slides the same too? What about extractor, ejector and breech face? I suspect they might be the same since the .32 is a semi-rimmed cartridge.
Any reason why I shouldn't do this?
Thank you for any advice, Dan
