Glockman17366 thank you. Yes, I see now see why the "other" option on a poll would be helpful. It invites people to offer different suggestions. Where without the "other" category, they may just jump to the next interesting thread without contributing a valuable suggestion. Thanks for the input.

S&W Scandium for me. Though an airweight is a fine choice too.

I don't care for mini-semiautos.

As an aside, I find easier to carry larger guns in summer. Oversized, square tailed shirts conceal just about anything and are inconspicuously common.

Revolvers are nice, but autos are flatter!!!
I pocket carry the MK9 in a DeSantis Nemisis.
I have carried a snub revolver, but found it takes up a lot of pocket space and only works with cargo pants. The MK can be carried in the pockets of ordinary jeans without the revolver buldge.

Good choice on the carry gun. I just ordered an M&P 340 last week and hope to get it today or tomorrow. It's a gun that's small enough to bring along regardless of the situation or style of dress.

To each his own, but I nearly always carry one of my Makarovs and when shorts and T-shirt weather comes I'll carry my NAA .22 Mag mini revolver.

I have a Kahr and a 642. I alternate. So I couldn't choose.

Here's an interesting issue. I found that drawing the Kahr with the short grip is a tad more difficult than the J frames. Thus, I've been gravitating towards it lately. If one needs a fast draw, that bothers me. Both guns in a DeSantis holster.
