Just watched this thing survive the knife test guy on youtube. Not a bit surprised considering it's 3V and thick as hell. I haven't heard anything on it; curious if anyone knows how thick it is. This thing has to be at least a half inch thick though I almost want to say it's more.

I have a 3v strider smf. It cuts well, as does s30v...3v seems like the perfect hard use choice...

Speaking of 3V folders, I'm dying for Spyderco to release the Tuff. Freakin thing has been in the "engineering phase" on and off for at least 5 years. Considering Spyderco's penchant for using the latest and greatest steels in their knives, I'm surprised they haven't made more models out of 3V. The Rock Salt and Forrester would be great camp knives in 3V. Only thing I can think of is maybe 3V is cost prohibitive for a mass production knife. (Still we've seen S90v and other super hard steels in fairly large runs)
