This one is not an Alaskan, it is the first of what became the Alaskan.
My son was home on leave after 14 months in the Gulf and we were cruising my favorite LGS here in CT, where they know that I am a DW guy. They showed me this one, NIB, unfired. This shop had sold this gun originally, the buyer traded back in after several years.
My son had his "I gotta have it" look, and we (I) went out the door with it. He was stationed in the Miami area at the time, this one became his Everglades carry pistol.
