that's awesome. i hope that my son takes an interest in shooting. he's got a few more years though.

I must be the odd man out-
While I enjoyed seeing him shoot- him with a loaded gun with no one watching him- while standing on an unsafe platform -that chair is and unsafe item for anyone to stand on... made my safety bells sound.

Please take him shooting and either make a rest his size or bring a better platform for him to shoot- and no offense but a child that young needs someone within grabbing the gun distance who is intently watching him or her so they do not sweep the line in excitement or confusion if the gun does not go bang etc ....

its good to start him early on safety and responsibility and all that jazz, but next time show him a little of it yourself by giving him ALL of your attention when he is standing on a chair with a rifle....

Alls it takes is one generation to not learn the value of the RKBA and we will loose it, most likely forever.

Glad to see the next generation is being tought in your house.

tallpaul and oddman I made sure that the chair was stable enough i was beside him the whole time he was shooting, i just wanted to have a pic with him shooting thats why i was not beside him..thanks for all the comments it was a lot of fun..
