DC's Response to Heller

Guys, DC's rule on semi-autos is totally untenable. Even a 7th grader would understand the SC's ruling. Instead of whining why doesn't one of you just push the issue and get it over with. All you need to do is to get turned down trying to register (but why even registration is valid I do not see) a regular flavor of semi-auto. Seconds after you file suit the rule will vaporise.

Don't wait for someone else to do this - go for it.

I'd like to see somebody try to register a wide variety of firearms, get denied, get their guns confiscated and then sue for unconstitutionality of the DC registrations. At the least, I will financially help to support that case. In fact, I'll donate one of my guns to a DC resident who's up for (1) getting their gun registration denied, (2) keeping the gun loaded in their home and (3) keeping the gun unlocked at least sometimes.
