Why do I seem to remember that the CZ trigger was hard to reach in DA with my short fingers?

The ruger is not a lesser gun. Both are accurate and will kill a bad guy just as dead if called upon to defend.

And a Ruger will outlast several generations.

No comparison. CZ hands down. Ruger center fire autos are just not in the same league.

I'd go with the Ruger. I owned a Ruger KP95R and it was an awesome gun. Very reliable. Good value.

The only thing I added was putting a Hogue Rubber Grip sleeve on to make it fill my hand better. I sold it to thin out my collection (I mostly just shoot shotguns and revolvers), but if I had to buy a 9mm semi auto again, I would go for a Ruger P series.

Actually either way the pistol will likely be getting a set of Hogue finger groove grips, they are really comfortable for a $15 upgrade.

I'll chime in for the CZ. If you want a decocker, get the CZ75BD. I have one and it rocks. I've owned the Ruger and I would definitely go with the CZ.
