Sat in a blind on son's property down back, then walked back up the road toward our house, when I spied a doe about 40 yards into the hardwoods, but it stopped when it saw me and was right in line with a neighbor's house. She and I had a "Maine Standoff" for about 15 minutes, then I walked away.

We have had pretty bad pig problems, so we generally have plenty of meat. So the deer at our place don’t see a lot of pressure. They follow us from trap to trap. Generally wait until after we leave but not always.

Got a real nice doe this morning with the 444 marlin. Didn’t think to take a picture. She had an 8 point following her but he silhouetted me and didn’t want to play catch.
