What I'm getting at is that things are nowhere near as bad as some make it sound. Mountains vs. molehills.
Methinks life in the USA is so darned good that people are so bored out of their minds they're looking for an excuse for a revolution just to liven things up. Some may be legitimately peeved off to that degree, but most are just bored.
Carry on the actual fight. Tossing NFA and 922(o) are crucial.

What's banned? Aside from the import ban Gifted mentioned, there's also the CA AWB, .50 BMG ban, handgun registration, and 10-round magazine limit; there's the DC, NYC, and (I think?) Chicago handgun bans. I believe the laws in IL and NJ are pretty restrictive also though I don't recall the details offhand.
Also there's the NFA act, and the '86 ban. Those are more tolerable to me though.
Fincher is not going anywhere. The appeals court will uphold his conviction... he really has no chance, when you consider precedent.

FA weapons manufacture has been prohibited since 1986. A fact that is particularly galling as it was signed into law by the "Great Reagan". This is the law the Fincher really broke.

Sorry, Derby,,, I should not post when I have been drinking. It was my intent to say that a BAN is not needed, if enough of the sheep can be convinced the weapons are bad, and be led to the fact that therefore the owners of them are bad. Then the social pressure against us mounts to a point it can not be resisted.
IF we allow ANY restriction, and honor it without challenge, the second ammendment will soon mean nothing. I do not accuse any politician of wanting to destroy the second amendment. This politician just wants to outlaw saturday night specials, because his constituents are prosperous, and do not need them. And this politician wants to outlaw high capacity pistols, because his constituents are poor, and do not care, they just want their saturday night specials. This politician wants to outlaw long range rifles(30 30 winchester comes to mind) because he has five farms per square mile in Iowa, and shotgun slugs are good for deer.
We are being nibbled to death by ducks. Well meaning, honest ducks, but, maybe it would be good, if we all had a few "roasted ducks".
If we unite, now, we might stand, if we do not, we will surely fall. The next time you hear, this gun is bad, or this person should not have one, or these bullets are bad, remember, if you do not stand up for me, I will not be here to stand up for you.

Many perhaps are well meaning and honest but I'm sure just as many do not fall into that category. There are career politicians who feel and act as if they have the right to actually rule America, not govern it, rule it.
