I have examined Federal, Speer ammunition and found pricing for 250 rounds to be rather... dizzy.
Is it a alternative to consider target rounds with perhaps the same feel or loads as a cheaper way to break in a handgun? Or am I not doing the handgun any favors by feeding it lettle caps?
Also should I be drawn to fancy things like Nickel Coated Cartridges or Plastic/other alloy carts? Or just stay with good old fashioned brass?
Duty ammunition is very attractive and I found much good advice on this thread. It is difficult to sort out "THE" pick to use in breaking in a new handgun.
