Okay, so apparently there is some confusion about "cop killer" bullets and the "gun show loop". I think I need to explain these.

"Cop killer" bullets can be either expanding ammunition or ammunition that will go through a certain level of vest.

The most famous bill that would ban ammunition based on the vest criteria would ban anything that could go through a level II vest. of course I can't compile a conclusive list due to the sheer number of cartridges that would be banned, but here are some examples of what would be banned : some 9mm, some .357 magnum, most .44 magnum, 12 gauge slugs ( We're not talking about high-powered hunting slugs either, I'm talking about 1 oz slugs from a home defense gun), .30-06, .308, .243, .338 marlin and a ton of other calibers.

Expanding ammunition is ammunition that expands once it hits it's target. This is vital for self-defense as it protects innocent bystanders, and it increases stopping power in calibers 9mm and up. This ammunition is oten legally required for hunting.

Now, on to the "gun show loop". This refers to the fact that you can sell to another individual without a background check. (Unless you are a firearms dealer)

Legislation to stop this stops all sales between you and another individual without a firearms dealer checking their background, and you will usually have to pay a fee for that.

So in other words, if you go hunting you can't trade guns, and if your mother-in-law wants to buy a gun, you have to get her background checked, and pay the fee for it. (Even if you're not at a gunshow) If you fail to do so, you would be a criminal.

I think you mean gun show "loophole"

Here are the Merriam-Webster definitions, definition #2 is what you have decided to share your knowledge about:
Main Entry:
1loop·hole

1 a: a small opening through which small arms may be fired b: a similar opening to admit light and air or to permit observation
2: a means of escape ; especially : an ambiguity or omission in the text through which the intent of a statute, contract, or obligation may be evaded

The media provide the answer. "Cop Killer bullets" are any form of amunition effective for personal protection, and The "Gun Show Loophole" is your ability to buy a gun from someone who wants to sell it.
