I am absolutely disgusted by this video and by the response by some of my fellow members. Of course we don't have all the information, but I think the video makes the incident quite clear. The man was shot in the back while in the vulnerable position that the "officer" put him into. After the shooting, the "officer" did not clear the victim for weapons, indicating that he knew he was not in danger.

matthew.g.george YOU are the reason law-abiding people do not trust the police. Apparently you can't see or hear the video through the blue haze, and that is a shame.

I am thew reason? the video was of poor quality; I nor you were there... I'm sure the truth will come out. F-you boston george; you are probably one of the folks who thought it was okay to shoot a cop through a locked door...

Well, to be honest, the video and audio seem to be a testament to what happened.
Whatever...

Not THE reason, but one of many.

What if the shooting had gone the other way? Would have the honor to use the "we weren't there, so we don't know" logic, or would you be howling, "Murder!"?

You claim you dislike dirty cops even more than "civilians" do, because it makes you look bad; turns out that's an easy claim to make when nothing qualifies in your mind as dirty (or even just negligent).

What actually makes you (law enforcement) look bad is claiming you're held to a higher standard, when reality says otherwise.

And yeah - I thought the guy who shot the trespasser he didn't know from Adam was totally justified - as would you have if the roles had been reversed.
