I just sold a romanian PSL 10 round mag on Ebay to someone in California are they legal in California? I can't find any info if its legal to ship it there.

Zoogster thank you. I found some other info online and I see pro mag ships to Cali. I just didn't want to find out anything the hard way.

If you want to legally ship a mag with a capacity of more than 10 rounds into CA, you have to fully disassemble it and sell it as a "rebuild parts kit."

not trying to push my limits with the ATF

ATF has nothing to do with it, because its state law, not federal. And you'd be perfectly fine, anyway because its not illegal to sell it as a parts kit.

This one? http://www.dragunov.net/romanian_psl.html

CA 'assault weapons' law is incredibly dependent on the precise markings on the rifles.

A Romanian PSL (Puşcă Semiautomată cu Lunetă (Rifle, Semiautomatic with Scope)) does not appear to be on the 'banned by name' list.

So, it could in theory be equipped with a magazine lock of some kind - most common seems to be a 'bullet button', as already noted, and used with magazines of 10 rounds or fewer.

(Since I happen to be thinking about sports today, "PSL" meant "Personal Seat License", one of those pay-the-franchise-for-the-right-to-buy-tickets-at-our-new-stadium things.)
