Dick's doubles down and hires lobbyists for gun control

Dicks is obviously not concerned about selling firearms under current law. So, I think they should just put other merchandise in that area of the store and be done with it. They aren't making most shooters happy. Since Sportsman's Warehouse opened a store in my area, I have had little inclination to visit Dicks. Academy sells all the misc sporting goods equipment that I might need.

I am not sure why anybody is surprised by Dick's reaction. They dropped certain guns and the gun community came down hard on them for it. So Dick's entrenched its position, solidifying the customer base it wanted and working to keep their competitors from making money on AR15s and the like. This may be a decision that works out well for them as a business model if certain things happen in the future. Of course, it may backfire, which I feel is more likely.
