I herd a rummor that CDNN has stoped selling hand guns. I look at their catalog and there are no handguns. I live out far in the country side and there are no gun stores near me. On most occasions I would check CDNN and then I would take the add into town to my FFL.

Did something happen becasue of virgina tech? ? ?

CDNN made a business decision after the tragedy at Virginia Tech. They decided to take out the handgun ads from their online catalog. This was to avoid what might have become a big "PR" problem with the media, figuring that the gun craze would start and everyone but the "Nut Case" would be blamed for his action. But they stated that this decision was to protect the wholesale prices for their FFL customers. Don't know that's it's true but that's what I've heard. Anyway I believe you can still call direct and get a price and make a purchase from them. They even stated that down the road they would hope to put the ads back in.

I was wondering what was going on. A friend had downloaded the catalog after I had mentioned all the great prices on guns and no handguns were in it.

I haven't bought anything yet from them, they were out of the two I was looking into when I called, but I will soon.

If you are on their mailing list, they send out a list of handguns (and rifles) for sale every month? week?
Seems like every week, but once you get over 50 time goes into a chronosyclastic infindibulum, and you are unable to differentiate between 2 days and 2 years.

Me too! Ask me when someone died or when some friend's kid was born and my guess is almost always insanely wrong, If I say 4 years, it's 12, and yesterday a friend tells me his brother's kid is 17, so the last time I saw him was 12 years ago. I would have guessed he was 10 or so.

And I have had this thing my entire life where I forget to take stuff with me I need until I'm turning into the driveway or lot of wherever I am going to. My mom is in assisted living and 3 times last week I pull into the parking lot and just turn around and go back home to get what I had set out to take to her. It's a 16 mile trip home and back.

I requested a hard-copy of the catalog last week. Maybe when it gets here I can scan the good stuff and host it for viewing.
