Did I do my first C&R bound book entry correctly?

Post-WWII arsenal refurb + hand picked best of 5. It's one of the best moist nuggets I've ever laid my eyes on. The bore looks almost unissued. Not a Mosin fan but very happy with the purchase.

Did I do this right?

Looks fine to me but you need to have an extra column for the "Disposition" if you ever sell or give it away.

So far all my "Dispositions" are blank.

Might be a little overboard with the manufacturer but it looks like it is all there. I think if there is an importer than the manufacturer is less critical.

Pretty much the same as above; a little less needed on the manufacturer, a bit more on the action type. I wish you lots of practice!

Great Ideas. I'll put cost in the field currently greyed out field and expand on "type".

Don't enter more info under "type". If you read your FFL rules and regulations it will tell you exactly what to put there. Rifle, shotgun, pistol, and revolver will be all you ever need unless you intend to get into NFA C&R guns. And make sure your bound book or program is a format approved by the ATF. As far as manufacturer and importer, I put whatever is stamped on the gun. Non-import marked guns are a more gray area.

If youre using a computerized bound book, make sure to keep hard copies and backups.

This is coming from a guy who has had to rewrite his server program THREE TIMES due to faulty consumer grade hard drives.

I also work for an IT company where reimaging drives and replacing dead ones is a daily, if not hourly occurrence.

Make backups. Do it.

On my cloud account which means a hard copy exists on all my computers, tablets, and phones. I'll probably keep a 3-ring binder of printouts and a copy in my safe deposit box next to my trust's NFA stamps as well.

I feel a lot more secure that way than a sheet of paper that could be lost in a fire.

Seems pretty "hard" to me. :)
One of these days I'm going to put my NAS in an out building so there is a natural fire break from my house. Family photos and all that.
