Did Someone Say CZ?

What I like about the CZ75B is it reminds me of my 2nd favorite pistol of all time:

The Browning Hi-Power.

IMO just on overall appearance and feel, the first time I shot a CZ75B, I had the notion that it was more-or-less a Hi-Power which was taken to the next level.

Another thing I like about the CZ75B is it's a steel frame. There's too many manufacturers out there making polymer frames and I don't care for paying $600+ for a pistol which is half plastic. Alloy is better (such as Beretta and Ruger) but I'd much rather have a STEEL frame. The balance feels better and I have a lot more faith in it.

This is one of the main reasons I've stuck with my 1911's and Hi-Powers for so long.

I got a CZ75 and traded my Highpower off. then I got another 75 in .40 to go keep the 9mm one company.

I went to the local gun store looking for a CZ75B and they didn't have any.

I suppose I'll have to order one.

Anyone know of any stores in Ohio (preferably central & southeastern) which stock CZ's?

CZ Original

Got mine in Germany, 1984. Original Czech. Serial No. 75065. Got it at Frankonia Jagd in Darmstadt. I had to get BATF approval to bring it back. Now they're like popcorn. Sights aren't good enough? Double action too stiff? Hell, they're a combat arm! You've got 16 rounds (max with one up) in the 1980s! Miss the first one, pump the guy with the other 15!

In 25 years I've never had a breakage. I don't recall any stoppages. Mine's a dark BLUE, a little rough, suffered a little surface rust (this was a backup when I was in the army, and still taken along anytime I leave home for 24 hours or more).

5.5 gr of Unique under a Hornady 124 gr flat nose shoots point of aim at any meaningful combat pistol range. Plus, I bought two additional mags to go with it. 45 rounds that go anywhere I order them to.

CZ 75s RULE

Ditto, Wolf. That was my exact perception. I don't have a BHP anymore, because of my CZ's.

I finally got to see a 75b yesterday at Cabela's and decided I want one. Does anyone know if they make extended slide stop levers for them? My hands are kind of small and I couldn't easily reach the lever without altering my grip alot.

You guys almost have me talked into one, or two. :D

Does someone have a picture indicating the frame size difference between the CZ83 and 75B?

Thanks!

4) Decock: A Sig or H&K will perform a full decock, the CZ decocker only goes into half cock. So, you end up with 3 trigger conditions instead of only 2.

With Hks there is a half cock setting (came around in 95-96ish IIRC) so it has three trigger conditions also.

I bought a CZ85C & liked this gun so much I bought it's big brother the CZ97B.

I am very pleased with the performance & reliability of both of these guns.:)

Sounds like a wonderful love story. Better than any paper back or movie.
