This has been going around, and it works and it's free. It definitely lightens the trigger pull.

I've seen that before but it made me a little nervous from a reliability standpoint. Glad to hear it works!

The key to that is not to polish through the hardening (which is usually very thin on most AR triggers). I am also not a fan of clipping one leg of the hammer spring either.

One real simple change you can do that benefits almost any AR trigger immediately is to use tight fitting trigger and hammer pins that are polished.
