My favorite Action Hero has given up his venerable Beretta. I tried hard to call his new pistol, but didn' get a positive ID. I think it was a S&W M&P, probably .40, but they never showed it clearly,

Anybody else see it, yet?

In the few photos of the movie I have seen one of the pistols looks like a Sig or maybe an HK. But he probably has many different handgun he uses during the movie. What is up with using the actor from the Apple commercials as a side kick for Bruce? I seriously dislike those ads.

Maybe to broaden the base of potential viewers? I think I'll wait for this one to come out on video or on demand.

A pistol? Is that what we really need in a action movie?

The freakin terminator in T3 had a stock less G36!! A STOCK LESS G36!!!!!!!!!!

Beat that!:D

The picture above is undeniably a Sig. The grip is obvious. I've heard more than one opinion that it was a 220. Looks like it.

However, I have see other photos from the movie where he's holding what appears to be a Beretta PX4.

Grip in that photo is surely a sig, even dragged mine over to compare.

This one however....

Is not, and I can't ID it from what I see there.

I don't care what kind of gun it is, personally (although it does look like a SIG P220;)), as long as this fourth movie is better than the incoherent mess of the third and the blatant factual errors of the second. :D

You guys are all wrong. It's a Glock 7, obviously. :neener::p (I can't believe nobody in the first 10 posts brought up the legendary G7!)

Definitely a Sig in the first pic.

It it NOT A GLOCK 7! The updated model of the G7 has a selector switch near the bottom of the grip... not quite sure why. Still shaking my head about that one.
The older G7s had a grip more like a Bergmann than a 1911, anyways.

Three of these look the same. Then there is suppressed one that I assume is an HK compact.

I seem to recall at least one police agency in NYC going to a DAO Sig a few years back. Not sure if it was the NYPD, Port Authority PD, Transit Police, or what.

Did the NYPD use Berettas when the first movies were made?

I have to agree. This is the same angle minus, except for the obvious open action. I can't find any other firearms with the same lines on the slide.

I went over the pic I posted again, the "square" silhouette which led me to believe it was a different gun is actually a little bit of motion blur.

I just saw the movie...IT WAS AWSOME.

I believe that he starts out with a Sig, but it seems like he has trouble hanging onto a gun for more than 5 minutes. I think he ends up going through 5 or 6 different pistols by the time the movie is over.

Word a few weeks ago was that it was to be a Beretta PX4. Someone on another forum has popped up some stills. I haven't seen the film yet, though.

I loved the first and third movie. The 2nd one didn't really interest me. This one looks good!
