Differences between S&W M&P vs S&W SD pistols

I've been looking around the S&W website (I love looking at different guns on the internet.) I can't find any real difference between the M&P and the SD series of guns other than cosmetic differences. I did find the the SD did have a tritium front site. Anyone else know what the major differences are beween these two?

The SD doesn't have interchangeable grips.

Thanx for the link JTQ...that was quite helpful in the differences between those S&W pistols
