I,ve used a Dillon SDB for years to load 45acp . This past weekend it broke a return spring on the primer feed , called Dillon for a replacement spring and found it no longer available because my press is an older model , but no problem they sent a complete new priming system no charge and it arrived very quickly . I'm loading again .

That's real nice to know.....

I've got the first model as well, and they've sent me the upgraded powder link back a few years ago when I needed to replace the old style link.

Their presses aren't the cheapest, but when you couple the price in with the lifetime warranty, they aren't expensive at all.
I've got 2 550B's, and the SDB. One of the 550's was upgraded from an older RL450 that I had bought second hand.
So, I've been with Dillon since the very early 80's and they've treated me like family.
No regrets......ever.

I've never seen a company with better customer service. Absolutely the best. When they say "No BS Warranty and " Don't Suffer In Silence", they mean it. Buying and owning a Dillon is buying and owning peace of mind.

I thought I would drag this up because I just remodelled my garage and actually had room to put in a bench, so I broke out my Square Deal that had been in storage for 5+ years. It was missing a few little parts and the manual, so I e-mailed Dillon. They gave me a work order number and said I could ship it in and they would refurbish it for free since it is an older model (15 years old I think).

Needless to say, I am a happy customer.

I've heard that Dillon is good, but this is great!

I may have to rethink my list of reloading presses to get... I was leaning toward RCBS, but if this is how Dillon really is... :)

Not to knock Dillon in any way (I have 2 650s and a 550 as well), but RCBS has as good a warranty on there stuff from what I've experienced. I like them both in that regard.

I just have to add my2 cents worth.

I loaded 45s on a SD for years while I loaded everything else on my RCBS Rockchucker, reeason being I shot IPSC with the 45 creating the need for large quantities of ammo. After many years of this, the frame on the SD cracked, something I have never heard of before or since. When I called Dillon , I was told to mail it to them for repair. What I got back within 2 weeks was for all practical purposes a new machine. They really mean what they say when they say Lifetime no BS warranty. \

Needless to say when I upgraded to a 650 I had no trouble selling the SD since the warranty goes with the machine to its new owner. Can't beat that with a stick..

And, no I don't work for Dillon , they really are that good

Absolutely, Dillon's customer service is why I will buy all future progressives from them. I've got an SDB that I've used over the last couple years to load thousands of rounds--at a guess, 10,000--in three different calibers. I've had two parts break, and never been down for more than 5 days before the new part was in my mailbox, no charge, no trouble, no questions asked. The machine reliably produces great ammo, and with Dillon standing behind me, I'm not afraid to use it and use it and use it.

Excellent product, excellent company.

Both RCBS and Dillon are top-notch. I've used both of their warranties and they deliver.

I have an old Reloader Special press I bought used. It didn't come with the primer tray and I called RCBS to buy one. They sent it for free. At the same time I needed some pins for the Universal deprimer die set, again they sent some pins and one of the mandrels for want of a better word, that the pins mount on, for free. And the kinetic bullet puller collet was worn, no problem, with the same mailing came a free collet.

I have a Dillon 550B, which I really like. I broke the primer alarm case, told them I broke it, they sent me a new one. I also bent the primer activator rod and was sent a new one. These are both things I broke, and told them I broke them, and it didn't matter.

You can't go wrong with either company, great products and great warranties.
