Picked this up a few weeks ago from Classic Firearms:

Have had nothing but problems with it:

I tried installing a different recoil assembly - same problems.
I tried cutting a couple coils off the replacement spring - same problems.

I contacted them and will be sending it back for repair. Per the paperwork included with the gun, each rifle was test fired with 10rds before leaving the factory. Somehow I doubt that.

My other issue with the gun - the stock is impossible to fold.

I'd try some others, reason the mags were surplused and seen lots of problems with tapco

That is all there is Tapco and surplus Galil mags. These Galils ship with a Tapco mag. Tapco went out of business when Remington went bankrupt.
This gun is going back to JRA, they can figure it out. I've already wasted a bunch of ammo on this turd.

Sounds like normal JRA gun. They make very good Looking guns. Very much a crap shoot (literally) on build quality for actual function. Unfortunately their usual problem is out of spec receivers which honestly cannot be fixed. You either luck out with a functional shooter or be prepared to accept junk. It's been my personal experience and a lot of people on other forums that their customer service is awful. They will ship it back with a note saying some tweak was made and a whole bunch of rounds fired but it likely will still have the issue. I wish you the best and hope the company does something to redeem its past horrible work.
