Hi All-

Do any of you have experience using Fioccgi SPP in Caniks? What was your result, and if yes, which Canik model?

I ask because I'm not sure where the cup hardness falls, and Servicos primers are harder, and my Rival-S doesn't like them.

Thanks!

Are they fully seated to the bottom of the primer pocket, not just flush, or below flush?

I'd be surprised if it was a Canik issue.
Seated perfectly, thanks. They are the hardest cups I've ever seen. They usually go bang on the second firing. It shoots Ginex, Federal, CCI, WIN perfectly. I've read that some Glocks and CZs don't like them either.

They have run fine for me in my Glock 48, CZ P-09 and SP-01. Maybe the P-10 striker versions have issues? My old Glock 19 struggled with some S&B small rifle primers, but haven’t tried those again since replacing all the 25+ year old springs with new factory springs.

What does the indentation on the primer look like? If it’s shallow, ask Canik / Century to send you a new striker assembly. You should keep a spare on hand anyway.

I've used Fiocchi primers for quite a while and they worked well in all my guns. Never had a single problem. Most of my revolvers have spring kits in them and reduced hammer springs and they still work well.
I felt the Fiocchi's were softer than the winchester's I was using. Definitely softer than CCIs. That was Pre Covid so it was a few years ago.
