Can you give us a little more of an idea what's going on in the video you linked? It's generally considered poor form to just drop a link without much description - some of us view THR from work or around young kids, and you'd be suprised how often people post links with NSFW language, etc.

Took a little finish off a glock putting on his own sights. Hardly that big a deal - people have done way worse to a glock and they keep on trucking. Professional job? Not at all. But he learned and had fun putting on his sights - nothing so wrong with that.

Sorry, has been done.

Not a Glock, it's a Springfield XD.
Doesn't really matter though, if someone beats up a slide when trying to take off a dovetailed sight is a good indication they should leave all further work on their guns to a professional.

Thats why I machine up sight tools for any firearm I'm working on, it's a nice challenge and you can always sell it on ebay when you're done.

Presumably not for every firearm, but for a huge percentage they're available for purchase. No need to machine them up unless you just want to and can. I myself have no access to a machine shop so I'd have to buy it. But I do have the tool for the Glock.
