I picked no, I commonly handgun hunt for deer and small game. I also use rifles of diminutive power within the limitations of the respective cartridges, and I love the challenge. Elk hunts, I use the best setup I have, but hunting for fun, I'll use whatever is adequate and desirable to do so with. Last deer was my first deer with a shotgun slug. And for blind hunts it works.

You hunt with a blindfold on?!!!?? That's about as non-optimal as possible. Kudos!! Although, in that case, I'd suggest buckshot and a open choke.
After a few hunts lately, you'd think I had a blindfold on! I usually am just trying to set my wife and son up on deer, so we like to set up blinds in the thick stuff near a game trail...
